Oh the woes of being a busty lass. Shoshanna Gruss—nee Shoshanna Lonstein, who you may recall was for a time was Jerry Seinfeld's very young girlfriend—has always been a well-endowed woman. For years now she has been catering to her class (the double Ds of the 10021 and Gin Lane) with her chic and casual swim and beach wear. This morning's Wall Street Journal has a short and vaguely titillating (sorry) interview with the designer written by Rachel Dodes. Gem of the article: "'You wouldn't try on a wedding dress with your hair unbrushed and no lipstick,' says Ms. Gruss, adding that the same goes for swimwear." Word.
On the face of it, this article seemed to stray from The Journal's usual buttoned-up coverage, but we realized that it looks like there's at least one eager young reporter who is trying to ingratiate herself with the (we're predicting) new boss, Rupert Murdoch. This is the kind of tabloid gold that the Rupe loves, so get used to it. Enjoy it. And stop lamenting the fact that the "old" Journal will be lost. Kudos Ms. Dodes, the big breast beat is all yours and there's a very happy Australian who just put a gold star up next to your name.
